I love this rect! The first time I made it,it came out great. I made it again today and the taste is good but the texture falls apart. Any ideas why? Any suggestions as maybe re steaming it? Or baking it in broth? I hate to waste it, but not sure what to do with it.

Hi Barbara, I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner! You bring about an interesting question with your Vital Wheat Gluten, the most likely cause is one of 2 things, the first could be that your dough wasn't sticky enough it might have needed 1/2 a cup more of vital wheat gluten and the second might be when your ham is cooking in the broth it's important that the broth is held at a light simmer (if that) is the best if it comes to a hard boil that would also cause this situation to happen. I'm sorry I don't have any great ideas after the fact on how to fix it, if you did come up with one please share. Thank You for leaving a comment I will try and figure out a fix for this for others and post it here for others should someone run into this same problem. Thank you and I hope you have a fantastic day!!!
