Traditional Authentic Indian Fry Bread Taco:
Oh, This is a truly a delicious recipe, If your in the mood for Tacos this is what your looking for!!! Ingredients for fry bread: 1. 4 Cups of flour 2. 1 1/2 cups of water 3. 2 TBS baking powder 4. 1 tsp Sea Salt 5. 3 TBS canola oil or what ever oil you want to use Directions to make fry bread: Mix 4 cups of flour, salt, baking powder, and oil together and mix up well in a large bowl, Then start adding water about 1 cup and begin to mix all together add more water as need until you have a still slightly wet and tacky dough ball, knead dough well fold into a ball place back in bowl cover and let set for 2 to 2 1/2 hours in a warm place. After your dough has set for the appropriate amount of time begin pulling off slightly larger than golf ball size balls set aside till all dough is used and then take one of your balls and sprinkle flour on a rolling surface and begin rolling out your fry bread, roll ball thin and circular, set aside. Use a safe pan for for frying with oil and put pan on med high heat use a piece of dough tossed into the pan to let you know when its hot enough to fry your bread. Put dough into oil in fry pan poke bubbles on dough so you don't have big air pockets, when dough is golden on cooked side flip and do the same on the other side .
